Camel, Central Australia
Australia has a large number of wild camels, originally brought here from Afghanistan as a means of transport across the trackless desert lands, where temperatures in summer reach 40 degrees plus. In the background is the sacred group of rocks known as Kata Tjuta, close to the centre of the continent and to the famous red rock, Uluru. I like the way the camel's hump is reflected by the rocks behind.
