    This lighthouse stands on a cape of Silurian volcanic rock and guards the entrance to our harbor. I was alone there when this shot was taken - even the ocean was silent. The waters of the Gulf of Maine move into the Bay of Fundy when they pass this spot. It is one of my most-beloved places along this coastline.
