last summer I was with my two boys out quading when we saw a cow elk and this baby, the cow ran and the baby disappeared . we walked over to where we last saw it and came upon this sight. When frightened the baby will lay perfectly still and not move, it was quite amazing it wouldn't even blink, we backed off and gave it some room and it jumped up and ran to its mother.
