While traveling to Greece I experienced this amazing dessert called kataifi also know as birds nest. It was simply amazing paired with fresh vanilla bean icecream and cinnamon. The birds nest was very sticky and cruncy making it fun to chomp on after a long day in the sun. The honey soaked into this pastry made it very sweet and hard to eat just one! Amazing pistachio nuts were sprinkled on the top giving it an earthy sweet taste. A fun dessert I will never forget and hope to have again!
