From my trip to Northern Scandinavia: driving through Norway on the way back to Denmark, I passed Snaasavatnet (North of Trondheim) where I had the privilege of seeing a flock of approximately 50 cranes - I have never seen cranes in the wild before, so I was quite excited! I had quite an "open air" show and this photo is a capture of 3 cranes that just passed me in formation and have now prepared their landing gear for disembarkation, as can be seen on their straightened legs and toes!
