I was fishing on the Mokelumne River in CA when I noticed a snake diving down into the river and under a boulder. At first it was not clear to me what the reptile was doing but after watching it dive down a couple of times I realized it was fishing. After it's third plunge it came out victorious with a trout! I have five photo's in various stages of this reptile fishing.I could kick myself as I did have video recording capabilities but only took photo's.
