A friend and I were headed north to go camping and stopped at Piedras Blancas, California to photograph elephant seals. The seals were in their usual positions, sprawled out on the beach, sleeping. As we walked towards the other side of the beach, I spotted this crow looking out at the ocean. It was as if he was enjoying the view just like the tourists. He didn't mind anyone walking by him. He just sat there, watching the sea.
