On a glorious spring morning I was focused on capturing reflections of the early rising surfers in the ocean pool at Bronte Beach, Sydney. As the sun came through the clouds the yellow light was spectacular on the flat calm pool and the surfers stood and gazed before swimming out. Afterwards when looking through the series I realized that a bird had crossed at the perfect moment and is silhouetted against the sunrise... I love the reflections and colours in the shot.
