    On 17 November Sinter Klaas - Dutch version of Santa Claus -arrives to Holland on steam boat from Spain. Sinter Klaas is welcomed by happy crowds in every city, town and village. He is also surrounded by Black Pete's (Zwarte Pieten) who behave naughtily, give kids cookies and candies, and help Sint carry the presents. The innocent character is heavily attacked by UN who suspects racism in the several hundred year old tradition
