Photographed in Back Bay Wildlife Refuge in Virginia Beach Virginia. When I see dragonflies, I have the least expectation of getting near them. It's just this notion & the thought of them that when you attempt to get close to them, they'll fly away. This time, I was camera-ready, & iPhone was ready to videotape this event. I was lucky enough & able to tame this dragonfly when it landed on my finger for few minutes. This experience is my unexpected discovery that one dragonfly knows no boundary.
