An oldie, but a goodie. Red River Gorge in Kentucky. What a place! We had arrived late for our annual autumn climbing trip to the Gorge. Upon waking the next morning, we rolled out of our tents, groggily grabbed our gear, and lugged it to the pavilion to organize for our upcoming adventure. As I ducked out from beneath the vestibule of my tent, I looked up to see a visitor spying on my climbing partner.
