Lonely road near Salto Grande
Some places are beautiful for their solitude. To get to Chile's Torres del Paine National Park you drive through the province of Ultima Esperanza (in English, "Last Hope"); somehow, it seems appropriate in this land not far from the southern end of the world. It's remoteness means that few will ever see this view, which is a shame. I was photographing at this spot for about 20 minutes, and no other vehicles passed.
