Volunteering at an animal shelter, I see a lot of dogs. Some make it, some don't. This particular dog was different than the other strays that come through. He was so compassionate and open-minded, welcoming humans into his life. He was so content to stay by your side, even if he just met you, highly unusual for a dog who lived on the streets his entire life. He reminds me to do the same, and then imagining then achieving dreams becomes that much easier. He always looks into tomorrow, hopeful.
