Edit Photo Details Mount Rainier   #mountains #wasington
The east side of Mount Rainier as viewed from the Crystal Mountain Ski Area. At 14,416 feet, Mount Rainier is the largest and highest of the Cascade Volcanoes. Living in the Northwest we have a different idea of what a large mountain looks like. To us a "real" mountain stands tall, towering above its rivals. Mount Rainier alone is covered by more glacial ice than all the other lower 48 mountains combined. Rainier is a REAL mountain!
