We stopped at a place where they were making lime stone out of shells. They use it for many things including edible lime stone which they put in paan. Pann is a leaf with the edible lime stone spread on it and betel nut which has smiliar effects as nicotine. they also put things like fennel seed and other thing to make it sweet. I really enjoy chewing it.
