This little mutant is Opal, my 9 year old Sphynx. Although Sphynx cats appear to be hairless, they actually have a soft coat of "fuzz" all over their bodies. Their skin texture is much like chamois leather. Lack of fur is from a mutant recessive gene that must be passed on from both parents.
