Golden glory
An important lesson was learnt on a winter morning when a friend and I decided to photograph some birds at a lake in the middle of a busy suburb in Perth giving no thought to where the sun was about to rise from. It was chilly, foggy and dark when we set up shop in an open area overlooking the lake. All of a sudden, the sun started coming up from behind the scene, lighting up the lake and turning it into a pool of gold. The lesson- Surprise images are always the best.
