    This is the official residence of 'The President of India' and was designed by British architect Edwin Landseer Lutyens.The magnificent mansion behind the closed gates has 4 floors and 340 rooms. The pillar that can be seen in-front of the main building is known as 'The Jaipur Column' and is situated mid-way between the gates and the palace. The pillars on the side of the gate are surmounted by beautifully hand carved statues of elephant. just one word to describe the place 'G R A N D'...
