Quiet Dusk
Japan can be a crowded and cacophonous land. Marked by busy people rushing through their busy lives. The sidewalks of Tokyo can be constantly covered by the fleeting footsteps of millions. The trains packed to overflowing during weekday commute hours and weekends. And then there are places like Mount Fuji. As I view this majestic mountain from the 42nd floor of the Yokohama Landmark Tower at dusk, my mind goes quiet, if only for a few moments. How ironic that an active volcano can be so serene.
