In a Search for the Queen #3
Living his "life's dream" I called Andrew Simpson, a local beekeeper, to come out and get a wild honeybee hive out of a tree that fell in my front yard. He showed up soon after, smoked the area and searched for the queen. He did eventually find the queen bee, put her in the bee box and all the other bees crawled in following her pheromones. This image captures the honeybees and their attraction to the queen bee's pheromones.
