The foggy morning departure
After a night of rain,Darjeeling was cloudy even at 9:30 in the morning.The sparsely populated station started becoming functional slowly,as the passenger train (No.52587) from Kurseong neared arrival time in Darjeeling.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.Locals use this route to go to work,and they return in the evening.
