    Point Reyes Lighthouse(Marin county, California) is a great place to watch whales from the shore. This picture was taken during March 2013 when the whales were migrating from south (Mexico) to north (Alaska) with their calves. On the background is a whale watching boat that made a sharp u-turn on spotting a whale.
