This family comes to Bagbazar Sarbojanin every year to participate in the Sindur Khela ritual and pay homage to the goddess. This is the last day of the Durga Puja in Kolkata and Bagbazar is one of the best places to view the farewell ceremony to Devi Durga after the five days of puja celebration. This part of the rituals are for the ladies and is very famous and known as Sindur Khela, playing with vermilion used as a sign of married ladies amongst the Hindus.
