This was taken in 2006 with a basic camera along the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand. I've always loved it and have never forgotten this walk along the beach. We walked through this hole in the rock to the other side of the beach. We played, ran, and had lots of fun. When we turned around to go back to the car, we saw high tide and my husband took our daughter's hand and we had to wait for the surf to go out for all of us to run through the rock and to the safety of the other side.
