    Edit Photo Details Rime of the Ancient Mariner   #birds #bird #flight #antarctica #albatross #cape_horn
We had what must have been the easiest crossing of the Drake Passage in history. It was so easy that we had time to detour to Cape Horn where the Chilean government gave us permission to come inside the exclusion zone to within 2 miles. The air was full of Albatross and we could only remember the old story of the mariner. We feel very special to be amongst the few who have rounded the horn (even if we did it in a ship not a sailboat)
