Even though Brandon and I have family, we were both loners growing up. We both felt like it was just us in the world. When we met, we knew something was different. We no longer felt alone. We moved from North Carolina to Southern California. We knew no one. We realized when we got here that we didn't feel afraid, we had each other. We are always home as long as we're together. This photo was taken on the road from Flagstaff to Grand Canyon National Park during our trip west. Beautiful journey.
