A photographer, his assistant and two models use Cascade Brook as a backdrop. Of the three Cascade Brooks in New Hampshire's White Mountains, this is the one just above The Basin in the Pemigewasset River Valley south of Franconia Notch. The bedrock is Conway granite, part of the Cannon Mtn. Pluton intruded during the Jurassic period, roughly 190 Mya. (photo ref. # D010736)
