I was on the beach December 30th at sunset. It was cold and I had forgotten my coat. Still I stubbornly waited until the perfect wave came took the picture. The sky was unbelivable, a lot like the paintings of beach landscapes hanging in the National Gallery of Art. The air and soft light in this photo also reminds me of how a painting looks. Up on top is a person. The picture is slightly decieving, the "cliff" is acutually a really large rock that is easy climbed in under 10 minutes.
