I was walking along a mile-long winding path at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, in July, 2013, and thoroughly enjoying the thousands upon thousands of sunflowers in full bloom. Every year, they plant rows of sunflowers, about one mile long and 50 feet wide, along a winding path and road, and they are absolutely gorgeous, a sight to behold.
