All along the east coast of the United States, snow owls have expanded their migration territory to places that they have been rarely seen before. This snow owl, located in Batavia, NY has taken up residence near a small airport and was quite comfortable with onlookers coming to within fifty feet, allowing many photos to be taken. However, if your voice got too loud, she took flight and relocated nearby, starting the dance with the curious people all over again!
