I love the underwater world, and spend as much time as I can snorkeling to admire and photograph the beauty I see. This little nudibranch (sea slug) was grazing in the cove of Rangiputa on the Karikari Peninsula of northeastern New Zealand. It moved slowly and gracefully along, totally unperturbed by my comparatively huge body gripping the rubbery stem of nearby kelp to keep me and my little compact Olympus TG1 anchored to the bottom while I held my breath and snapped photos in macro mode. Joy!
