Sitting on a bench out at Lake Woodruff Wildlife Reserve, I sensed that something was moving behind me. I turned and saw this very large Snapping Turtle walking across the ground. When he saw me move towards him, he stopped just about a foot from the swampy area he was heading to. I guess he thought if he stayed still, I wouldn't be able to see him. I got a couple of head shots then he scooted down into swamp. I didn't think it wise to follow him...lol.
