A lioness is out on an early morning with her only cub. She used to belong to the marsh pride but due to internal conflicts over scarce food resources two of her other cubs were killed by a rival lioness giving her no choice than to flee with her only cub still alive. Living now as an outcast times are tough. She needs to hide the cub while hunting on her own to provide food for both of them, leaving the cub vulnerable to other predators.
