Japanese Costumes
At Dejima, downtown Nagasaki.
Dejima is a restored European community right in front of the Nagasaki Port. It was said that the community was created to prevent Christianity from entering Japan while continuing the trade. Nagasaki was the only port open to trading in Japan for many years.
One of the attractions in the area is costume playing were you get to wear old traditional Japanese clothes. You get to wear a kimono and carry a traditional Japanese umbrella.
