100 m run by below knee amputees
Jaipur Foot Program (JFP) is a project of Colombo Friend in need Society (an approved charity) supplying locally produced artificial limbs for amputees. 'Aidex', is a day of sports events organised annually by the project for limb users. Last year's Aidex was held on 13th October. The leading runner here in the midst of 100 m run, started using the Jaipur limb as a school boy who lost his right leg following a train accident. Presently he is employed at the limb manufacturing workshop ofJFP.
