I was down in Everglades National Park on a rainy morning. I had gone there to shoot a sunrise, but with the rain coming down I refocused my attention on finding wildlife instead. I came across this hawk sitting atop a tree and it looked miserable as it waited out the rain. I loved how it looked, so I started shooting. I think that everything about this photo conveys the dreary day it was.
