    Lobster buyer will often come out to the islands to purchase the days catch from the fisherman. We unload our tanks into the buoyant crates shown above. After they are weighed, the lobster buyer puts the crates back into the water to keep the lobster alive. At the end of the day, the buyer lifts the crates out of the water and into their holds, for transport back to the mainland.
