    A very old (Hindu) Brahman Pandit baba of a small Himalayan temple in a small village of northern Hema region of Sikkim near the River teesta; the holy man blessed us on our way to the Himalayan range research tour for 6 months. A Brahman Pandit is the first of four Hindu castes, they can become priests & scholars of Vedic literature and Baba is the title form of addressing a holy person of Hindu holy Shastra (sacred Vedic & Sanskrit text).
