There are lots of beaches in Vancouver, but the best views of the city are hidden in a handful of lesser known parks along Point Grey Road. These small pockets of rocky beaches offer an unparalleled view of the city's West Side and the majestic mountains towering behind them and also giving locals a refuge from the bustle of the more popular oceanside parks. It is somewhat of a tradition among locals to enjoy the sunset here with a take out dinner from one of the many great restaurants nearby.
