Reminds me of the lyrics to a popular Russian song from the 70s: "There's only a moment between the past and the present. This moment is called life." In Paris I feel acutely alive in every moment, acutely in love with this city. I love the transience of its crowds and the permanence of its cobblestones, the ghosts of all its greats, the music of its architecture, its history, its mystery.
