On the way to Kathmandu from Banepa I see different landscapes on this particular land in Bhaktapur. During winter, mud is extracted from this land to make bricks. At other times farmers cultivate routinely crops. Even during winter, the mountain range at the backdrop is not usually visible due to haze and black smoke released from brick kilns.
