It was really hard not to make a panorama of this scene. The color was just so expansive across the sky, it was just begging for this composition. Of all the colorful skies I have scene and photographed, I never get tired of seeing such changing beauty in the sky. There were a couple other people watching the sunset from this high point in Mesa Verde National Park, but as soon as the sun dipped below the horizon, they took off! They missed the most amazing part of the sunset!
