High 60s, to low 70s in San Francisco mid January means handfuls of locals will flock to the beach, in all shapes and sizes, with all sorts of strategies to reach their Vitamin-D fix. Some go as far as wearing shorts; an item that usually remains foreign during these winter months. Others, like me, will find themselves in their swim suits in an attempt to allow the sun to kiss their exposed skin. Those that remain are the individuals that make SF what it is. Those are the free and the naked.
