Kannur has adopted me, since my husband is from Kannur. The pristine beauty in the hinterlands of this city is breath catching and unbelievable. My favorite spot is the rice fields just across the road from my husband's house. The rice stalks and leaves swaying in the wind is a scene which fills the soul with peace.
