    We went for a Sunday spin up the Dublin Mountains. We got out for a walk and Ruby started running (that's what open spaces do to her!). This is The Military Road originally built 200 years ago from 1800-1809 to open up the Dublin Mountains so the British could find the rebels who were hiding in them. One man in particular Michael Dwyer was on the run up here for 5 years. In the end he was asked to give himself up and was sent to Australia if he promised not to cause any more trouble.........
