    this narrow lane in Jaipur is where the elephants are all washed and painted and decked up in flowers, finery and false tusks (they are all female elephants) before the start of the Jaipur elephant festival, celebrated a day before Holi - the festival of colours. This perky and restless young lady was giving her minders a hard time as they struggled with to paint her massive body while she kept raining leaves and twigs on them and pulled down whole branches from the trees lining the road
