Highest point in the State of Texas, over 8000 feet elevation, located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park near Van Horn, Texas. This is very rugged country and many died in the early days trying to settle this arid land. When there is rainfall, beautiful waterfalls cascade down the mountains.
