Sunday afternoon, as the crowds of tourists begin to thin, Pikes Place Market in Seattle WA. takes on an entirely different character. Things begin to slow down. Without the crush of people vying for their attention the vendors become more relaxed and friendly. It is the nice time to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the market and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Within one square block you can buy a dozen roses, get a delicious crab dinner and listen to a talented street musician.
