Edit Photo Details Religious discourse in India   #travel
Travelling from one holy town (Nasik) to another (Shirdi) on a Sunday morning, I came across this 'Pravachan' happening in a village that was enroute. Pravachans usually are conducted by a vedic scholar / religious head / priest and aim to instill values amongst people. From a photographic viewpoint, this presented an opportunity to capture the mood of the occasion as also the patterns formed by women draping their colourful sarees over their heads (done usually to show respect and seriousness)
