    A group of zebras is called a dazzle, their stripes dazzle their predators. Before giving birth a female zebra leaves the safety of the heard so that when her baby is born she can spend time with it, so it can learn how to recognise her. It is a big risk for her to do this but is needed for her baby. I took this picture when we suddenly came across these two. It was taken quickly so isn't perfect. I like how the foal is so quick to follow its mother & the mother is so watchful of us, the danger
